Matrix Processing Peptidase (MPP) - An enzyme in the matrix of mitochondria that cleaves signal sequences at the N terminal from the majority of mitochondrial proteins and deliver preproteins to the mitochondria.
Guidance Complex - Protein complex that is the initial recognition site of transit peptides and directs them to the TOC complex in chloroplasts
Tim9-Tim10 Complex - Complex of Tim chaperones that aid in the transport of hydrophobic precursor proteins across the intermembrane space in mitochondria.
